Now no matter what challenge you throw we women know how to tackle it thats for sure...while knowlege of beauty regime is something we inherit from our Mothers & Grandmothers....Natural home remedies passed on from generation to generation... These remedies do work wonders no doubts...but don't you think it at times become quite tedious and time consuming??? Implementing some of these in our daily chaotic lives is a task in itself...that is why I am on a constant hunt of alternatives to such natural fixes always...

Came across this product recently which took a spot in my beauty care, Bellavita's Be White Detan Face pack. Its base ingredient is Bentonite clay also called Montmorillonite, a very popular healing clay that also cleanses the skin. This clay is made from minerals such as iron, sodium, calcium, potassium and magnesium, formed from volcanic ash.  The presence of Bentonite in this effective fairness pack brings the following benefits:
  • Adding water to the clay gives it a negative electric charge, which in turn, removes toxins from the body. It works both externally and internally
  • Clay helps control the overproduction of sebum, which prevents formation of black heads and dark spots
  • As a natural Exfoliator it removes the dark dead skin layer and tan from the skin
Priced at INR 799/- for 50g of product, it claims to be Paraben and Sulphate free with no added petrochemicals, no artificial preservatives, no harsh detergents or any kind of synthetic fragrances. Ingredients consist of Bentonite Clay, Apricot Oil, Poppy seed extract, Clove oil, Vitamin E oil, Kaoline, Aloevera & Glycerine.

Directions for Use
Apply a thin layer of face pack on face & neck, leave it undisturbed for atleast 8-10 minutes. Let it dry, damp skin & gently massage for a minute. Rinse well. Use it thrice a week.

My Experience
The first thing I loved is the way the mini glass jar was packed in a cute little jute bag, absolutely adorable and very travel friendly too. The product is creamish in color and has a very pleasant strong fragrance. The texture is very creamy and very easy to apply as the product spreads evenly with no much efforts. I personal preferred my fingertips than the given spatula. It took approximately 10 minutes for the product to dry. Than as directed I damped it again and gently massaged my skin. After rinsing it left behind a silky soft smooth touch. It felt as if suddenly my skin felt hydrated again though I couldn't see any immediate skin lightening. However over a period of regular use I definitely could see the difference. So if you are looking for an overnight bleach effect it won't help however for regular users it definitely helps lighten the tan. So go try it for yourself and let me know if it worked for you or not. You can buy the product here.

All you need is a Cup of Coffee...!!!

"A lot can happen over coffee" this is a tag line you come across when you visit one of the India's most well known coffee shops,  Cafe Coffee Day aka CCD . In fact to be honest, I won't be wrong if I say CCD introduced me to the mesmerising world of coffee. Until then all I knew was the home made instant coffee.  Chapter 1 : College My love for coffee began with the onset of my college days. My first ever visit to CCD along with a bunch of goofy friends, variety of coffees and a lot of chit chat. Gradually, it became our hangout place, smallest of the joys and biggest of the sorrows all shared over a cup of coffee. First crush, first date, parties, breakup & a lot more, back then CCD was a silent spectator to all the golden moments of our life. Chapter 2 : Office Post graduation, overcoming all the innocent teenage issues I stepped into the next phase of life. The first few days itself proved, that life till now was a mere trailer and the...
“ Aaj Khaane Mei kya hai??? ” The most common question in every house. No matter where you go, no matter whom you ask, be it a caring mother, or a loving wife; a protective father or a pampering husband. No matter who’s turn is it, in the end all that matters is who’s cooking and what’s cooking? A young boy after school comes home running all the way to his mom, hungry and asking “ Maa, aaj khane mei kya hai? ” A daughter on her birthday asking, “ Mamma, aaj special khane mei kya hai? ” Husband before opening his lunch over the phone asking his wife, “ Acha suno, aaj khane mei kya hai? ”  Millions of moments cherished, billions of hearts connected. How a simple question at times can open up so many emotions. While there are still many lonely souls in town living independently away from family. Souls who toil day and night in this bustling city to achieve their dreams, for them having a proper relaxed meal can be a task at times. Where the so called “ Khana ” is nothing ...
